Tips & Tricks For a Shorter Wait Time
As we go into the winter months, we experience a high number of patients each day. As you know, we try our best to accommodate same day sick appointments to the extent possible. Sometimes that can cause longer wait times than we would like. However, there are three ways you can help us reduce your wait time and stay on schedule.
Complete your child's registration prior to arriving at the clinic, especially if you have multiple children being seen at the same time. You will receive a text and/or email with the link to do so. Once completed, you can just give the receptionist your child's name upon arrival and take a seat in the waiting area. The nurse will be notified immediately that you have arrived. This is basically an automatic "fast track" notification to the nurse that your child is ready to be called back.
If you are unable to complete the registration prior to arrival, we suggest arriving 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time. By arriving early, you can ensure that your information is updated in our system prior to being called to a room. Late arrivals could cause your child to be moved further down the schedule.
If your address, phone number, or insurance changes at any time, it’s helpful to notify us as soon as you can or at least as you’re making an appointment. That will ensure that everything is correct before your next visit so that you will not have spend time updating information while you are checking in.
